What We Do
TEAM R&R Disaster Assistance is here to assist with the rescue and recovery efforts during times of need. By teaming up with the local Fire Departments and Emergency Management organizations we’re an added resource for RESCUE needs. This comes in many ways:
- Water related: boat, raft, rigging
- Trees; saws, winches and safety gear
- High angle; Ropes and rigging
TEAM R&R
T = Trained 15 yrs of fire service with the FWFD, 10 yrs servicing Communication towers up
to 900’, scuba diving for 24 and 6 of those teaching and full cave cert, dry cave rescue too, construction background, 7 yrs white water, Tree service……
E = Equipped Hummer, Hard bottom inflatable, raft, chain saws, rigging with over a mile of rope, thermal imaging,
shovels…..
A = Available Have life set up to leave with a moments notice. Work a 24 on / 48 off shift with the fire dept
helps in a big way.
M = Manpower Personal to make it happen
R = Rescue Making the swift water rescue – Cutting trees way
R = Recovery This was most prevalent at the WTC
