What Are The Most Important Pieces of Equipment Needed?
That depends on the immediate need. Each response requires its own special set of circumstances. Thanks to some of my sponsors like Stihl, we have unique gear at the ready. For instance, while at Hurricane Charlie, we had just cleared a road that had multiple downed trees and branches.  Less then 30 minutes later an ambulance came screaming down the road to make an emergency run just down the street from where we were recovering from working. With the right equipment onhand, we were able to get the street open just in the nick of time!
