Who donated all this stuff? Over the years I’ve covered 90% of what you see today. I’m thankful for all help. Stihl was my first big name. They keep me stocked in my saw equipment. Bendix has done the most with a thermal imaging camera & their XVision system to the Hummer. Wal-Mart store #1419 donated money after I returned from the World Trade Center assistance. That money was used for water rescue gear. American Legion 47, 409, 421 donated some funding too. Some of it was used for fuel & to get a 14' self bailing raft. Zoll medical donated a AED and Save A Life donated a first aid kit. ASR, Junkin, have both donated rigging gear. Gill and other outfitters have been gracious with offering me a deep discount on gear and equipment. Several elementary schools have helped raise funds after hearing my lectures. There’s been a few small personal donations too. These sponsors help TEAM R&R do a better job. I’m thankful for all assistance. It’s all enables me to keep this organization going and to do a better job. .
I did for starters, I would not ask others to do, what I would not do myself. When I started TEAM R&R Disaster Assistance back in 2000 I went into with my own investment. My Hummer. With that comes insurance maintenance, fuel and tires. Next came the boat & trailer, rigging, fire gear, first aid kit, chain saws, generator and of course, countless hours for putting this mission together.
